GHOUM Rug MJ3039 (3’6” x 5’2”)

Description

The 3’6” x 5’2” Ghoum from Iran. This all wool piled
piece has a very interesting design, with its combination of floral and
geometric motifs that are blended together. The floral designs that kept
enclosed in varying angular borders until the center, where the unabashed
floral medallion is allowed to flow and be the center of attention. The field
is done in ivory and the border in a deep navy. Other colors are rust, light
blue, light green, red, black, and brown. The rug has a heavy and solid feel to
it.
