The 2’7” x 4’ Silk Ghoum from Iran. The intricate
medallion on this all-silk carpet anchors the design, gives the floral pattern
around it structure and draws you into this finely woven piece. This wonderful
example is woven using 625 knots per square inch. It has an ivory field and
beige colored border. Accent colors are red, navy, gold,, gray, pink, and pale
