The 2’8” x 4’ Silk Ghoum from Iran. This fantastic
all silk piece is awash in movement, with men on galloping horses in the big
hunt, deer bounding throughout,  grazing
sheep, and even some wolves in on the hunt. It also shows wonderful foliage
with trees, flowers and patches of tall grass. The 625 knots per square inch
make this piece come to life with the incredible amount of detail that this
type of weave makes possible. It is a great candidate to hang on a wall so you
can appreciate it up close everyday.
