Description
The 3’6” x 5’3” Isfahan from Iran. This carpet
is very well colored. The softer colors sit back in the carpet and allow the these
designs elements to be the backdrop to the richer and deeper colors that show
the movement of the pattern. This has a wool pile with some silk inlay. It is
finely woven with a ivory field and taupe border. The accent colors are navy,
light blue, pale yellow, brown, maroon, three different greens, gray, pink and
rust.
