Description
The 8’ 4” x 11’ 2” Khal Mahammdi from Pakistan. Like
most Afghan type rugs, it has a wool pile and foundation. The angular floral
design makes an attractive all over pattern done in various reds, and also with
a midnight colored navy and touches of ivory as its other colors. The pile is
clipped in a traditional manner and left short. You might note that the fringe
is gray because of the darker wool used in the foundation and the best part
about that, it will never show dirt.
